Push Back Racking
Push back racking is one of the most effective racking systems available, it combines safe high-density storage with high-speed access.
Pallets are usually stored on wheeled carriers up to five deep and when a load is retrieved the remaining pallets roll forward into position at the picking face.
Using conventional handling equipment access to pallets is based on a ‘first in, last out’ basis within each of the storage lanes.
Push back racking is ideally suited to order picking operations it enables areas of rack backing onto a wall to be fully utilised and allows you to keep track of stock.
